What is Southern Accent?
Southern Accent is the Montgomery area Sweet Adelines chorus composed of women of all ages who love to sing and entertain! The group performs a variety of music sure to please the musical tastes of any audience. All songs are performed in a four-part a capella babershop style.
An award-winning chorus, Southern Accent brings its singing and perfroming talents to civic events, conventions, private parties and military functions. The group has also provided pre-show entertainment at the world-renowned Alabama Shakespeare Festival.
What is Sweet Adelines?
Sweet Adelines International (SAI) is an organization made up of women who are dedicated to promoting, teaching, and performing the American folk art of barbershop singing.
